The Pastor’s Piece – October 27, 2019
It’s all about the candy.
I’ve read in the news where some schools in California, Illinois, New Jersey, and Vermont are cancelling Halloween celebrations and parades. Their argument is that some families don’t want to celebrate or participate. That’s fine. They don’t have to, but why ruin the day for everyone else? There are way too many kill joys in the world.
Prayer Guide – November 2019
Jerusalem has sinned greatly and so has become
unclean. All who honored her despise her, for they have
seen her nakedness, she herself groans and turns away,
(Lamentations 1:8). Obedience is a sure sign of your love for
God. We pray to be obedient to God’s Word. Please pray
for Wayne as he continues to rehab from a stroke.

The great radio preacher of old, J. Vernon McGee once said: “If you want to get involved in the Lord’s work, find where God is working, then roll up your sleeves and get involved.”

In the predawn hours last Friday, before I left home to meet with Dennis, my wife said to me: “This is your first day on your new job. We need to take your picture.” (Just like she did with our children on their first day of school.)
The Pastor’s Piece – October 13, 2019
If you were given 100 million dollars but the only way you could collect on it is if you continued to work a 40 hour week for the rest of your life, what job would you choose?

Fellowship of Christian Farmers Bby Kevin Cernek October 6, 2019 Have you ever felt insignificant, or not important, or like you’re not even in the room? Several years ago, my wife and I visited Chuck Swindoll’s church in Dallas, Texas. Chuck Swindoll is a well-known radio preacher who has been on Christian radio for […]

“The nation’s largest outdoor farm show is held annually and the location alternates between its two permanent sites near Decatur, Ill. and Boone, Iowa (held in Iowa in even-numbered years). This show is recognized the world over as the first large-scale agricultural event and it continues to lead the industry in scale and scope for […]
