Prayer Guide – April 2023
As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to
carry the cross. They came to a place called Golgotha (which means” The Place of the Skull”).
There they off ered Jesus some wine to drink, mixed with gall, but after tasting it, He refused
to drink it. When they had nailed Him to the cross, they divided his clothes by casting
lots. And sitting down they kept watch over Him there, (Matthew 27:32-36). Jesus had
been beaten, mocked, spit on and up all night. His physical body was weak. Simon was
probably one of the thousands of Jews in Jerusalem because of the Passover celebration

Prayer Guide – March 2023
Sanctify them by the truth, Your Word is truth. As You sent Me into the
world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify Myself, that
they too may be truly sanctifi ed, (John 17:17-19). The Bible is our
standard…not what the world says is true. We pray to live by the
guidelines of the Bible.

Prayer Guide January 2023
Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic
message when the body of elders laid their hands on you, (1Timothy
4:14). Our gifts are improved by using them…they tend to waste
away if not used. We pray to be ever involved in using our gifts
for God’s glory. Please pray for Kathleen’s grandson to return
to Jesus.

Prayer Guide – December 2022
For God, who said, Let light shine out of darkness, made His light shine
in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
in the face of Christ, (2Corinthians 4:6). Our inner light that refl ects
Jesus in our hearts should shine on our faces. We pray to be the light
of Christ in a dark world. 11/29-12/01 Greater Peoria Farm Show,

Now these are the people of the province who came up from the
captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, had
taken captive to Babylon (they returned to Jerusalem and Judah,
each to his own town, (Ezra 2:1). These people had to be able to
prove they were descendants of Abraham to have full privileges
of a Jew. We pray our lives refl ect our heavenly Father. Please
pray for John, a young father with liver cancer.

Prayer Guide – October 2022
Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but
as an obligation. However, to the man who does not work but trusts
God who justifi es the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness,
(Roman4:4-5). We aren’t saved by works. It is Jesus Christ who saves
us, not our feeling or actions. He is the only one strong enough to
save us no matter how weak our faith is.

Prayer Guide – September, 2022
When the Israelites cried to the Lord because of Midian, He sent a
prophet, who said, This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I
brought you up out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. I snatched
you from the power of Egypt and from the hand of all your
oppressors.
