- Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope, to Timothy my true son in the faith, Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord, (1Timothy 1:1-2). Paul spoke more than once about his commission to share the Gospel as coming directly from God. We pray to know that whatever God has called us to do is our commission from Him and He will equip us well. Please pray for Freddie…he recently had stem cell transplant and has infection in his body…pray for complete healing for Freddie.
- Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, according to the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus, to Timothy, my dear son, Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord, (2Timothy 1:1-2). Paul’s second and last letter to Timothy, probably written from prison shortly before his death. Again Paul is affirming that his calling is from God to the very end. We pray not give up, even in persecution, on our calling from God. Please pray for Jody. He had an intestinal blockage and lost 28 pounds in 10 days…pray for his strength to return.
- Paul, a servant of God and apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God’s elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness, a faith and knowledge resting on the hop of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, and at His appointed season He brought His Word to light, through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior, (Titus1:1-3). Again, Paul is affirming his calling and encouraging all Believers to know our calling comes from God. Please pray for Ms. Tanner. She is early 90’s and is considering voluntarily transitioning to Assisted Living.
- I (Paul) am sending him (Onesimus), who is my very heart, back to you. I would have like to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the Gospel, (Philemon 2:12-13). Paul was doing the right thing by sending the run- away slave back to his master. We can’t live a lie while proclaiming God’s Word to others. We pray to make the hard choice and do the right thing. Please pray for the Jinright family. After years of struggling, Chuck lost his battle with this life here on earth. Pray for his family as they heal from his life and his loss of life.
- Anyone who lives on (spiritual) milk, being still an (spiritual) infant, is not acquainted with the teaching abut righteousness. But solid (spiritual) food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil, (Hebrews 5:13-14). Commitment to Christ should move us out of our comfort zone. We should be eager to grow spiritually, learning to discern good from evil. We pray to reach and teach as we learn. Please pray for our cotton farmers…we have had flooding, drought conditions, two storms and now low commodity prices when getting ready to sell…we need prayers.
- He chose to give us (spiritual) birth through the Word of truth, that we may be a kind of first fruits of all He created, (James 1:18). James is reminding these Believers they are the first Christians…and thus would be the first fruits of all the rest of humanity. Some of us are first fruits in our families, group of friends, workplace, neighborhood. We pray our influence would lead others to Christ. 6-13 Pennsylvania Farm Show, Harrisburg, PA, Doc DeVoe
- Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual mild, so that by it you may grow- up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good, (1Peter 2:2-3). Just like we can’t wait to become grownups in life, when we become Believers, we should yearn to grow spiritually. We pray to be spiritually healthy enough that we want to grow in Christ. 7-9 Keystone Farm Show, York, PA, Mike Steele
- It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them, (2Peter 2:21). Just like we can’t unsee a picture, we can’t unlearn a truth. What we choose to do with that truth is up to us. We can reject it and be worse than before we were ignorant. Or, we can accept it and life our lives incorporating that truth. We pray to accept the truth of Salvation on faith through Jesus our Savior. 8-19 Florida Manatee Festival, Crystal River, FLA, Bill Brown
- The life (Jesus) appeared, we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us, (1John 1:2). John is assuring others that Jesus was real and that he and the other disciples had seen and touched Jesus and that He was real. We pray to know by faith in God’s Word that Jesus was real and that He died, was buried, and resurrected as our Savior. 9-11 Keystone Farm Show, York, PA, Chris Brown
- I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the Word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one, (1 John 2:14). We seasoned Believers love to see young people give their lives to Christ. To raise their families in church. We pray to mentor the younger generations. Please pray for the mental stability of our farmers…we are living in tough times to be a farmer…many are depressed as they look toward the future of farming…need to get out and yet looking for a glimmer of hope to stay in farming.
- Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say, now have come the Salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God Day and night, has been hurled down, (Revelation 12:10). Satan was defeated at the open tomb, but continues to deceive people that he is in control. We pray to be stay connected spiritually with other Believers and to become spiritually strong as we stay in God’s Word. 10-12 Allentown RV Show, Allentown PA, Mike Steele
- The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them, (Genesis 3:21). Sin had broken Adam and Eve’s close relationship with God and as they understood their sinful nature they were ashamed so God gave them clothes to wear. We pay to trust that God’s ways are the best even when our sin nature calls us to do otherwise. 12-13 KNID Agri Fest, Enid, OK, Jerry Rice
- The Lord said to Moses, I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear Me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you. Then Moses told the Lord what the people had said, (Exodus 19:9). God is always looking out for our best. He was preparing the people to accept Moses as their leader and going to give them His commandments to live by. We pray to make time to be spiritually connected to God. 12-13 Northern Louisiana Ag EXPO, West Monroe, LA, Jeff Goss
- Bring the grain offering made of these things (fine flour and oil) to the Lord, present it to the priest, who shall take it to the altar. He shall take out the memorial portion from the grain offering and burn it on the altar as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the Lord, (Leviticus 2:8-9). A grain offering was a gift of thanks to God. We pray to give a sacrifice of praise to the Lord.
- The Lord said to Moses, count all the firstborn Israelite males who are a month old or more and make a list of their names, (Numbers 3:40). God had first set all the first-born Israelite males in service to the Tabernacle and to the people. Now he was going to use only the Levites as these caretakers. We raise a hallelujah for all those called into God’s ministry. 14-16 Quad Cities Farm Equipment Show, Richard Larabee
- You grumbled in your tents and said, The Lord hates us and so He brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us, (Deuteronomy 1:27). Problems don’t have to rob us of our joy…we don’t have to grumble but rather we should stand firm in our faith. We pray to not grumble in our hearts before God. 16-18 Virginia Farm Show, Fishersville, VA, Steeles
- After three days (of waiting to cross the Jordan River) the officers went throughout the camp, giving orders to the people, when you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God and the priests, who are Levites, carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before, (Joshua 3:2-3). We have to trust God as we move ahead in our lives. We pray to seek God’s direction in our lives as we meet obstacles in our daily journey. 16-18 Fort Wayne Farm Show, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jeremy Stout

- May I continue to find favor in your eyes, my lord, she (Ruth) said. You have given me comfort and spoken kindly to your servant, tough I do not have the standing of one of your servant girls, (Ruth 2:13). Ruth was talking to Boaz. He saw her special qualities immediately and wanted to protect her. We pray to let Jesus shine in us. Please pray for the Kampens. He has had a stroke and his wife has nerve problems.
- In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the Lord, (1Samuel 1:10). Though Hannah was faithful in her prayers she was barren and so her soul was distraught. Samuel heard her prayers and blessed her. We pray to not get weary when at first our prayers are not answered the way we would like. Please pray for Petrina’s family. After a two year struggle she passed on. Paul’s parents are active members of the Mohawk Valley of FCFI.
- All the people took note (that David was in mourning) and were pleased, indeed, everything the king did pleased them, (2Samuel 3:36). David was sad that Abner had been murdered…some thought he may have had Abner killed but when they saw he was in deep mourning they realized he didn’t have any part of it. We pray to be above reproach by our peers. Please pray for our country as we transition for one administration to another…Pray for God’s right hand of blessing continue to be on America and we once again return to blessing His Holy Name.
- The man of God came up and told the king of Israel, this is what the Lord says, Because the Arameans think the Lord is a god of the hills and not a god of the valleys, I will deliver this vast army into your hands, and you will know that I am the Lord, (1Kings 20:28). The Arameans plotted and planned but God was in control and their vast army was defeated. We pray to look to God for our strength.
- When Elisha, the man of God, heard that the king of Israel had torn his robes, he sent him this message, why have you torn your robes? Have the man (Naaman) dome to me and he will know that there is a prophet in Israel, (2Kings 5:8). Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram. He had leprosy and his maid, a captive from Israel told him her God could heal him. Through God, Elisha did just that. We pray to be a witness whatever our circumstances.
- Ezer and Elead were killed by the native-born men of Gath, when they went down to seize their livestock. Their father Ephraim mourned for them many days, and his relatives came to comfort him, (1Chronicles 7:21-22). Life was not easy for the Israelites. But God was gracious in sending many sons and daughters to them. Joshua was one of these sons and became the leader who led the group into Caanan. We pray to be faithful even in the midst of tragedy. 24-26 New York Sportsman’s EXPO, Syracuse NY, Bill Brown
- Solomon sent this message to Hiram, king of Tyre, send me cedar logs as you did for my father David when you sent him cedar to build a palace to live in, (2Chronicles 2:3). Solomon was about to start building the Temple in Jerusalem. He needed supplies and even though Hiram was from a country that believed in many gods he sent the supplies and testified to Solomon’s God. We pray to use everyday circumstances to bring honor to God. 24-26 Sioux Falls Farm Show, Sioux Falls, SD, Jeff Goss
- The priests, the Levites, the singers, the gatekeepers and the Temple servants settled in their own towns, along with some of the other people, and the rest of the Israelites settled in their towns, (Ezra 2:70). Captivity was over for the Israelites and many chose to come back to Caanan and on to Jerusalem. Thus began the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem and the Temple. We pray for forgiveness when we have sinned and pray that we will immediately begin to rebuild our lives on our Christian principles. 25-28 Early Bird EXPO, Bloomsburg, PA, Doc DeVoe
- They are Your servants and Your people, whom You redeemed by Your great strength and Your mighty hand, (Nehemiah 1:10). Please pray for a revival to sweep across our country and world and let it be so great it will go down in history…pray in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
- According to the law, what must be done to Queen Vashti? He (King Xerxes) asked. She has not obeyed the command of King Xerxes that the eunuchs have taken to her, (Esther 1:15). King Xerxes was an important man and ruled over a vast territory…all of his people in authority were present at the banquet when he sent for Vasthi…she refused to come. This made the king look less than effective as a leader when he wasn’t in control of his queen. We pray to live in harmony and peace with others as much as is possible.1/26-1/31 Echo, Ft Meyers, FL, Ron and Deb Herrold
- I have observed, those who plow evil and those who sow trouble reap it. At the breath of God they are destroyed, (Job 4:8). Job’s friend was suggesting Job had done something to make God destroy all of his family and wealth. We pray to encourage and not point fingers at those who are going through troubled times. Please pray for the House family. Their senior family member passed after struggling health for several years.
- How long, O men, will you turn My glory into shame? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods! Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for Himself, the Lord will hear when I call to Him, (Psalm 4:2-3). David knew that God would answer his prayers. We pray to remember as Believers we are set apart and God hears our prayers. Please pray for those trying to make important decisions in their lives.
- My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them, (Proverbs 1:10). Sometimes we have to love people from afar. We can’t be friendly with sin and expect our lives to remain unaffected. We pray to make righteous choices. Please pray for our farmers and they make plans and seek financial help for the coming year.
