News from the Brown’s – March 2022

Sending along an update on the Browns. We are in Florida and have been blessed to work
a couple of events with incredibly good success. People are searching for answers as the
world seems to be out of control. We were promised that there would be “wars and rumors
of wars” and we are certainly experiencing that. We have many Ukrainian friends as I’m
sure many of you do as well. Keep them in your prayers.

As Kathy and I start another year, our 22nd, working with the Fellowship of Christian Farmers we thought a short note to bring you up to date would be appropriate. Romans 12:12 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” What a good word of encouragement to each of us to grab on to as we navigate the challenging times we’re experiencing. I’ve attached a picture from three years ago to illustrate some of the challenges of being on the road.

I Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand
firm, let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of
the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
The summer is speeding by so we’d like to catch you up to date as to
what has taken place to date. We’ve been busy and could not have
accomplished as much without the Lord’s guidance and your help. The
results of the walking stick outreaches have been very encouraging.

“If we give God service, it must be because He gives us grace. We work for Him because He works for us.” DL Moody. Isn’t that the truth? Kathy and I start our twentieth year of serving Him through the Fellowship of Christian Farmers. What a journey it has been! We do work for Him and anything we may have accomplished is because of Him and it’s certainly in spite of our shortcomings. We struggle as human beings just like everyone. 2018 was a very successful year and 2019 is shaping up to be even busier.
