The Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International teamed up with Go Serve Global to help farmers in rural Iowa recover from the August 10th derecho windstorm that hit the Cedar Rapids area with sustained winds of over 100 mph, lasting nearly an hour and flattening 13 million acres of corn and soybeans. Current projects include removing downed trees and gleaning fields littered with pieces of destroyed grain bins and other metal buildings on farms northeast of Keystone.
