Yuma Family Loses Everything in Tornado
Danage at the Monk home
Yuma, Colorado was hit Tuesday with an EF-3 tornado, with winds reaching 150 mph. The Monk residence was hit hard. They have little to nothing left. Inagine going through something like this for yourself. We know, as followers of Jesus Christ, that He will see us through. But people need to step up and help them recover from this disaster. The Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International is such an organization that works tirelessly to help our farmer brothers and sisters to recover from such a tragedy.
When it’s your own house…,
The Fellowship of Christian Farmers jumped on this immediately. You see, The Pauls just performed at our annual conference. So God put this all together. They are good friends with the Monk’s, and drove straight out to help. The Pauls will be performing a concert tomorrow night, Saturday, with all proceed going to help the Monk’s recover from their loss. Here is their Go Fund Me site:

From the site:
“Tuesday, August 8 day that the Monk family will not soon forget. An F3 tornado ripped apart their farm and totally destroying their house, fellowship building and farm fields. They lost absolutely everything. To know this family is to love them. Please help them put their lives back together.”
Morton building torn up
So Saturday night at 5pm is the concert featuring the Pauls doing their part to help the Monks recover from this tornado damage. Does our Lord allow this to see our people respond with kindness and love? His ways are not our ways.
