During the Gun Show at the NYS Fairgrounds on October 18–19, 2025, the Spirit of God moved in a powerful and unforgettable way. Throughout the weekend, we had the opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a little over 280 people. Each conversation mattered—but one moment on Sunday afternoon stood out as the clear highlight of the event.
It happened just before we began packing up our booth.
I had stepped away briefly and returned to find two young men standing near the table next to the FCFI display. As I approached from behind, they turned around and—at first—could only see my chest. I startled them slightly. Smiling, I asked, “I’m looking for young men. Are you young men?”
They looked at each other and replied, “Yes.”
I told them that I was with the Fellowship of Christian Farmers and that we were there looking especially to connect with young men who may have grown up without a father in their lives. Without hesitation, both shared that they had grown up without fathers.
As we began talking, I noticed they were wearing T-shirts promoting satanic music. In that moment, I quietly prayed and asked the Spirit of God to give me wisdom—to speak His words, not my own.
I then shared the Gospel using the Walking Stick Color Beads presentation, and what followed was a deep and meaningful conversation. Both young men listened intently. They had heard the Gospel before, but this time something was different. The Lord was clearly at work in their hearts.
Michael and Elisha both agreed to pray, asking Christ Jesus to forgive their sins and to come into their hearts. Elisha later shared that he had been under intense spiritual oppression and struggle. After praying in his own words and expressing his heart to God the Father, he told Mark Nimey and me that he felt an overwhelming sense of peace.
It was a sacred moment.
That afternoon, we witnessed God reach into two young lives standing dangerously close to the edge of eternity without Him. By His grace, those young men received salvation and hope in Christ.
We praise God for allowing us to be part of His work. Encounters like these remind us why we show up—why we set up tables, have conversations, and remain faithful in sharing the Good News. You never know who God is preparing for that one final conversation.
Thank you for the continued blessing of serving together through the Fellowship. It is a joy and a privilege to labor side by side in the harvest.
Your brother in Christ Jesus,
Ricardo F. Rosero
