The FCFI tent at the Troy Fair

Good morning to our wonderful FCFI family in Lord Jesus!

The 2023 Troy Fair in Troy, PA ended Saturday July 29.
We had a fantastic time sharing Lord Jesus with the people.
The Lord allowed us to see 58 souls come to Him in the tent this year!

We thought you may want to see some of the great action.

New Walking Sticks deserve a High Five as the excited young man celebrates with FCFI witness Karen Steele.

Here is the busy corner of the tent. The box of Wordless Walking Sticks were to the right of the standing banner. Everyone would step in there to get their new walking sticks and the salvation message of Lord Jesus. Here four young adults receive the message from FCFI witness Sally Good (right).

The Pennsylvania Northern Tier Chapter of FCFI does not want to stand tall above people when sharing this great message. Here, FCFI witness Karen Steele gets on her knees to be level with this young lady for the message. Gram was excited and had to have a picture also.

There were times of great activity at the FCFI tent. Here FCFI witnesses Sally Good (black shirt to the left), Ed Tewrrel (green and white shirt by the tent post), and Karen Steele (far right) are all busy sharing the Wordless Walking Stick message. There would be times people would stop and watch all this activity.

The Troy Fair has a scavenger hunt for the kids on Wednesday. One thing they must try to get is a picture of themselves with a farmer. Where else do you go for this picture but the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International’s tent! They got their picture taken with FCFI witness and local farmer Ed Terrel! If you are getting your picture with a farmer you must have the FCFI upright banner and some tractor banners!

The people just kept coming in.

The Pennsylvania Northern Tier Chapter gave out approximately 800 FCFI Wordless Walking Sticks over the six day fair.
We prayed with 58 people to accept Lord Jesus into their hearts and lives.
One young FFA student from Florida asked us to come down to the Florida FFA State Convention.
The first three to ask Jesus into their hearts and lives were FFA students!

There were some slow moments and some very busy moments. Here again are three FCFI witnesses sharing the Gospel of Lord Jesus in the FCFI tent!

Two young men stopped by. They came to the tent last year. They are now sixteen years old. The one told us he was waiting to turn sixteen and get his driver’s license so he could help out the FCFI Rapid Response Team. We directed them to the FCFI National office to get the details and set up a trip.

The important thing is not who is presenting the message but the message itself! Two walking sticks and full attention is placed on each bead as they are explained. We always point to the bead as we share. Only God can change lives and only God can save souls so we shift the focus from us to God!

A great moment of the show as FCFI witness and local farmer Ed Terrel shares how God sent His son down to earth to wash away the sins of the world to this young man. We have a new brother in Lord Jesus now!

Two farmers stand in the Christian Farmers tent talking about farming and family. This has to be what the Founding Fathers of this great ministry had in mind when they started the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International years ago!

The sun has gone down and the fair is close to closing for the evening and 2023. But there is always time to share the Gospel of Lord Jesus. Gram stopped by with her two granddaughters. FCFI witness Karen Steele is again down on a knee to share the message with them in comfortable manner!

That is the 2023 Troy Fair!

So many moments the witnesses will carry in their hearts for the rest of their lives.
We thank the Lord for bringing so many people into our tent.
We thank the Holy Spirit for not sitting down as we would do but for always moving and touching hearts.
And we thank Lord Jesus for giving His life for a broken and sinful world!

Now, on to the next event!
