“Time flies when you’re having fun”—and how true that has been for us this year. It’s hard to believe we are already a quarter of the way through 2026!
Alongside our ministry with the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, we’ve been leading a weekly Bible study in our apartment building. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity. God has brought together an amazing group of people—some eager to grow deeper in their faith, others simply curious. In the midst of it all, lives are being transformed, and people are accepting Christ as Savior and Lord.
We have also enrolled in our church’s School of Ministry at Rock Calvary Chapel. It’s demanding work, but every moment has been worth it. We are learning and growing in ways that are strengthening our calling. We would truly appreciate your prayers, especially as we tackle a significant amount of memorization—something that doesn’t come quite as easily as it once did!
As for our ministry with FCFI, something powerful is happening—something we don’t fully understand, but we give God all the glory. There is a growing hunger, especially among young people. At every event, we are witnessing the Holy Spirit move in remarkable ways—opening hearts, drawing people in, and inspiring believers to come alongside new Christians in prayer and encouragement.
Here’s a glimpse of what God has been doing so far this year:
At the Cape Coral Arts Festival, things initially seemed discouraging. Pete endured harsh words and even had walking sticks thrown at him. But God was at work behind the scenes. Through that experience, we were introduced to Pastor Dr. Robert Butz and his wife from Gulf Coast Baptist Church. In the weeks that followed, they joined us in outreach—helping distribute walking sticks and leading people to Jesus. We are so thankful for their partnership and their passion for sharing the Gospel.
The following week, we joined Life Ministries in LaBelle for their “All in for Christ” outreach. With the help of men from St. Matthew’s House in Naples, we were able to share Jesus with many. We are so grateful for Pastor Jorge, Pastor Asia, and their team—faithful partners in ministry for many years.
Soon after, we faced difficult weather conditions while ministering at the Young Farmers Convention on Jekyll Island, Georgia. Even so, God opened doors for us to connect with several farming families.

In February, we prepared for the Swamp Cabbage Festival in LaBelle. Just days before the event, Sandy became ill, leaving Pete to serve alone—or so we thought. Once again, Life Ministries stepped in, faithfully serving alongside us. God provided helpers at every turn, including Pastor Bob and his family from Gulf Coast Baptist Church. During this two-day event, 50 people gave their lives to Jesus—praise God!
One young woman initially insisted she would only help tie beads onto the walking sticks and would not speak to anyone. By the end of the day, the Holy Spirit had completely transformed her role—she was praying with and ministering to 8–10 people at a time. We were also honored to pray with many first responders and law enforcement officers who stopped by our tent.
God continues to faithfully send laborers into the harvest. At the Rattlesnake Roundup in Whigham, Georgia, we experienced something truly extraordinary. This was our first time attending, and we didn’t know what to expect—but God had prepared everything.

Early in the day, it seemed like everyone we met already knew the Lord. But as the hours passed, something shifted. People began arriving in groups. Those who were already believers surrounded and encouraged those who chose to receive Christ. Over 800 walking sticks were distributed, and more than 250 people made decisions to follow Jesus.
It was like watching a miracle unfold in real time. Our voices grew hoarse, and we struggled to keep up—but God kept bringing people. One teenage girl stood quietly at the back of a group. When asked about salvation, she was the only one who raised her hand. Tears flowed as she prayed to receive Christ. In another moment, a woman who had just accepted Jesus immediately began sharing the message with her family—becoming an evangelist within minutes.

At one point, Sandy noticed three rough-looking men approaching and braced for a negative encounter. Instead, all three gave their lives to Christ.
We have never experienced anything quite like that day. It truly felt as though hearts were aligned with one powerful truth: today is the day of salvation.
