At a recent conference, something incredible happened—one of those moments that reminds us how God works in unexpected ways.
It started with a simple gesture. A lady in a red shirt walked past the conference table in the hallway. I stopped her and asked if she wanted a bracelet. She paused and responded, “Well, I was looking for the stick booth, but it was so busy. I actually just wanted to thank someone who talked to me last year.”
She looked to be in her early twenties and continued, “Last year, someone here gave me a stick and shared the gospel with me. I didn’t get saved that day, but about a month later, I gave my life to Christ. And I just had to come back.”
What made this even more remarkable was that she had traveled all the way from Michigan to Kentucky just to find the person who had shared the gospel with her—to thank them for introducing her to Jesus.
This moment is a powerful reminder that our witness, no matter how small it may seem at the time, can plant seeds that lead to life-changing decisions. Whether it’s handing out a bracelet, offering a kind word, or sharing the gospel, we may never fully know the impact of our actions. But God does.
Let this be an encouragement to all of us: Keep sharing. Keep witnessing. Keep being faithful. You never know who might come back one day, grateful for the seed you planted.
