The Gospel at the Pennsylvania Adventure RV Expo – Altoona PA by Michael Steele

FCFI witness Michael Steele (left) shares the message with this young man. They had a really good talk. Sometimes people just listen to the message and sometimes it opens them up and there will be a good conversation.

Greetings to all of our wonderful brothers and sisters in Lord Jesus!

The Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International’s Pennsylvania Northern Tier Chapter (PANTC) was honored to be allowed to share Jesus Christ at the 2025 Pennsylvania Adventure RV Expo at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, Pa.
This was our fourth year attending this event.

This year’s show ran from Friday February 21 through Sunday February 23, 2025. Volunteers were Michael and Karen Sterele, Ernie and Martha Reese, and David and Sally Good.

There were around 70 to 80 different styles of new RVs on hand along with approximately twenty other vendors including campground representatives and other camping (and some non-camping) related vendors.

Here are some images showcasing the event as it took place!

The booth was set up the night before and ready for people to stop by when the doors to the event opened at 10 AM. We had a ministry table and a sand art table. FCFI gave out approximately 350 Wordless Walking Sticks, around 50 Wordless Bible zipper pulls, maybe 25 kids construction hats, 30 leather bracelets, 100 gel bracelets and maybe 15 bookmarks. Three people prayed to receive Jesus into their hearts and lives over the three days! With each item the Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ went out.

Three FCFI witnesses all busy at the same time. You can see the box full of walking sticks waiting for new owners to take them home.

One 12 year old young man stopped at the FCFI booth and was reading the five colored banners explaining the Wordless Bible message. He then asked several questions. It was awesome that the banners opened the young man up and he wanted answers.

Look at all the fun happening at the FCFI sand art table. It is free for anyone that wants to make a sand art cross necklace. The sand is in the five colors of the Wordless Bible and everyone is given the message before starting their necklace.

Both the ministry table and the sand art table can be very busy at times.

The first day the local news team arrived early on Friday to interview the Pennsylvania Game Commission workers (next to the FCFI booth.) We received word from someone that the FCFI booth was seen on the noon news that day.

One of the first people to stop on Friday was a lady who spent time in prison. She was not very old. She said drugs had ruined her life. She lost her son because of it. She came out of prison, received Jesus into her heart and life, and the Lord gave her back her son!! She stopped to get a Wordless Walking Stick for her ten year old son.

It was common to see some families stop at the ministry table and get the Wordless Bible message and then stop at the sand art table. So they are getting the message twice.

One man in his sixties stopped to get a walking stick. He told us he has hiked over a thousand miles and hiked in almost every state. He was excited to get a new hiking stick. He said that stick will go with him on his next one thousand miles of hiking. We told him to mark it each time and place he hikes. It will become his hiking diary.

Again, three FCFI witnesses are all sharing at the same time. This was a common scene at the FCFI booth all weekend. The Salvation Message of Lord Jesus kept going out!

These two ladies stopped at the FCFI booth. One was already in the Lord’s family and the other was not. Look at the expression on the one face as she receives the Gospel of Lord Jesus using the FCFI gel bracelet. FCFI witness Karen Steele shares.

Gram and Pap stopped by with the granddaughters to get them their own little walking sticks. FCFI witnesses Ernie and Martha Reese share the message.

On Saturday night the FCFI booth was cleaned up and the two remaining workers were ready to leave. Before they could leave, one of the convention center workers came to the booth. He said due to working he was unable to stop earlier and asked if it was possible he could get a walking stick. We pulled out a stick and shared the message. Here is Neil receiving the message from FCFI witness Michael Steele.

FCFI witnesses Sally Good and Karen Steele help everyone out at the sand art table. The people had a great time.

Many show promoters love having the PANTC group at their events knowing there will be something for the kids to do. And free at that!

Have you come to an RV show and stopped at the Christian Farmers booth for the salvation message and a walking stick?

This young lady told us she loves Jesus. We asked her how much. She said this much!

FCFI witnesses Ernie and Martha Reese at the table and standing up to share the Salvation message of Lord Jesus with these people. It often is easier to share when standing and looking into their eyes while doing so.

This young man stopped at the FCFI sand art table and had a friend on his shoulder. The friend wanted more green sand in his cross! Yes, that is a real bird watching on.

The FCFI construction hats were a hit with the kids. Here all three got their own FCFI construction hat and walking stick.

Look at the focus as these young ones create their own sand art cross necklace. And they heard all about Jesus, too!

We displayed eight tractor banners, each representing classic brands. One man stopped to share stories of the tractors he had driven, highlighting how these banners spark meaningful conversations.

More than just decorations, the banners proclaim the farmer’s role in ministry. Two years ago at the Tropy Fair, three FFA students were drawn in by them, leading to a powerful moment where they accepted Jesus into their hearts.

We love seeing how something so simple can open doors to faith!

God Bless!
