The Fruitful Outcome of our FCFI Evangelism Ministry – by Jeff Goss

For many years, I had the privilege of ministering at the National FFA Convention, and those times were always powerful. So when the door to that event closed, it felt like a setback—almost like the enemy had claimed a victory. But in God’s perfect way, what seemed like a loss turned into an even greater opportunity. Since shifting our focus to state FFA conventions, we’ve seen incredible fruit—far more than we ever imagined.

At every state convention we’ve participated in this year, we’ve encountered a deep hunger for the Gospel. Students are seeking truth, and the Spirit of God is clearly moving. It’s been an honor to represent FCFI at these events, sharing the Good News and watching lives be touched.

One of the most encouraging things has been the number of students who return to our booth with stories of transformation. Many come up and tell us they prayed with us in previous years and are still walking with the Lord—attending youth groups, going to church, and growing in their faith. These are seeds that have taken root.

At the New Mexico State FFA Convention, a young man stopped by with a big smile. He shared that he prayed with me to receive Christ last year, was baptized two months later, and is now faithfully attending church. He thanked us for being there. We also had the opportunity to minister to Navajo students from Shiprock, and I was able to invite them to our upcoming outreach during the Shiprock Fair and encourage them to connect with Victory Life Church in their community.

The response at the Oklahoma State Convention was overwhelming. Our booth was flooded with students, many of whom stayed to talk and pray. One student in Tulsa even began bringing his friends over so they could hear the Gospel too. At the Missouri Convention, a high school student from St. Charles expressed interest in joining our Navajo outreach team, and potentially getting more involved with FCFI.

We’ve consistently seen a strong interest in both the Gospel and the mission of FCFI at every event.

As I prepare for the final stretch of FFA conventions in Florida, North Carolina, and Texas, I ask for your continued prayers. Pray that doors stay open, hearts remain tender, and the name of Jesus is lifted high wherever we go.
