Fellowship of Christian Farmers at the Fort Wayne Farm Show: A Call to the Great Commission
The Fellowship of Christian Farmers International (FCFI) was honored to participate in the Fort Wayne Farm Show this January, continuing its mission to share the hope of the gospel with the farming community. The event proved to be a powerful opportunity to connect with visitors, plant seeds of faith, and challenge believers to actively participate in the Great Commission.
A Dedicated Team Led by Jeremy Stout
Jeremy Stout played a pivotal role in organizing the FCFI booth, assembling a dedicated team of volunteers who brought enthusiasm and purpose to the event. His leadership and commitment to the ministry ensured that every visitor who stopped by the booth was warmly welcomed and presented with the gospel message in a meaningful way.
The team distributed FCFI’s signature walking sticks, each equipped with colored beads that tell the story of salvation through Jesus Christ. These simple yet powerful tools continue to open conversations about faith and eternity, resonating with people from all walks of life.
Jeremy’s ability to bring together a diverse group of volunteers exemplifies the heart of FCFI’s ministry—collaboration, encouragement, and the desire to make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God. The Fellowship of Christian Farmers extends its heartfelt thanks to Jeremy Stout, the volunteer team, and area leader Bill Nichols from Ohio who all gave time to the outreach.
Conversations with a Purpose
During the show, the executive director Dan Janzen would often ask: “What is your plan for the Great Commission?” This question, posed to Christians who visited the booth, served as both a challenge and a call to action. It prompted many to reflect on their role in fulfilling Christ’s command to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).

The responses were as varied as the people who stopped by. Some shared about their involvement in local ministries, while others admitted they hadn’t given much thought to their personal responsibility in advancing the gospel. Regardless of their initial reaction, each conversation became an opportunity to inspire believers to think globally while acting locally.
“I’ve always felt it’s important to remind Christians of the urgency of the Great Commission,” one FCFI volunteer shared. “Sometimes we get so focused on our daily lives that we forget the incredible privilege and responsibility we have to share the gospel. This question really gets people thinking about how they can make a difference.”

A Growing Impact
The Fort Wayne Farm Show continues to be a vital event for FCFI, providing a unique platform to reach farmers, families, and rural communities with the hope of Christ. Many visitors expressed gratitude for the presence of a faith-based organization at the show, noting how encouraging it was to see the gospel being shared in such a public space.
Jeremy Stout and his team’s dedication to creating a welcoming and impactful experience didn’t go unnoticed. Their efforts not only brought the gospel message to many but also reignited a passion among Christians to take seriously their role in God’s global mission.

Looking Ahead
As FCFI moves forward into the new year, the focus remains on equipping believers to share their faith and challenging them to think beyond their immediate communities. Let this be a reminder to all of us: the Great Commission isn’t just a command—it’s a calling we are privileged to fulfill, wherever God places us.
