Sweet Encounters at the Sugar Festival in Clewiston, FL

Ron Herrold always ready to help. Thanks to the Herrold’s for joining the Browns

On March 15, the Fellowship of Christian Farmers made its way to Clewiston, Florida, for the annual Sugar Festival—a vibrant event in the heart of the town known as the “Sugar Capital of the U.S.” and home to U.S. Sugar.

Over the course of just six hours, approximately 700 people stopped by our booth, where the Gospel message was shared with joy and purpose. The energy was high, the conversations heartfelt, and the outreach impactful.

We were grateful to have Ron and Deb Herrold join us for the event. Deb was actively engaged in sharing the message of Christ, while Ron—always ready to lend a hand—brought warmth and dedication to the team. A big thank you to the Herrolds for partnering once again with Bill and Kathy Brown in this ministry.

A special shoutout also goes to Freddi Silva, a Spanish-speaking volunteer from First Baptist Church in Clewiston. Freddi (the “short man in the white hat”) played a vital role in helping us connect with members of the local Hispanic community, making sure the Gospel was shared across language barriers.

God continues to open doors in every place we go, and the Sugar Festival was no exception. Each conversation, smile, and prayer planted seeds for His Kingdom. Thank you to everyone who made it possible!
