Jeff Goss and Pastor Robert Tso
The Fellowship of Christian Farmers recently concluded one of its most cherished outreaches—the Navajo Nation Shiprock Fair. This vibrant annual gathering attracts nearly 100,000 Navajo attendees for a celebration full of parades, rodeos, flea markets, and carnival festivities. Jeff Goss reflected on the event as one of the most fruitful experiences in recent years.
Having been involved in this outreach for decades, Jeff noticed a growing hunger and curiosity for the Gospel, particularly among young Navajo men and teenagers. More individuals than ever visited the ministry booths seeking prayer, guidance, and encouragement. The outreach team took the opportunity to minister, pray, and share God’s Word, witnessing firsthand lives being transformed.
One story stood out for Jeff—a grandmother who had been praying for years for the salvation of her grandchildren. She brought her teenage grandchildren to the booth, and although they had believed in God, they had never formally received Jesus. After heartfelt prayer, the grandchildren chose to accept Jesus as their Savior. The grandmother’s gratitude was overflowing; as she left the booth, she repeatedly bowed and said thank you, her joy and relief evident. Jeff highlighted this moment as a reminder to praying grandmothers and parents: persistent prayer is powerful, even if it takes years to see the fruit.
Pastor Robert Tso, a longtime partner in ministry through Victory Life Church in Shiprock, shared his reflections on the outreach. He emphasized the importance of continued support for Jeff Goss and the Fellowship of Christian Farmers in reaching out to indigenous communities. He noted that gatherings like the Shiprock Fair provide essential opportunities for people to receive prayer, ministerial support, and the Word of God. Pastor Robert celebrated the many testimonies of healing, salvation, and encouragement he witnessed throughout the event.
The Shiprock Fair 2025 served as a powerful reminder of the enduring impact of faith, prayer, and persistent ministry. The outreach demonstrated that even amid large crowds and busy events, God’s Word continues to touch hearts, transform lives, and inspire hope across generations in the Navajo Nation.
