At the Tulsa Farm Show, the Fellowship of Christian Farmers International (FCFI) delivered a heartfelt message of hope, salvation, and transformation. Through their outreach, they shared the symbolism of their beaded bracelets:
The Gold Bead: The Promise of Heaven
The gold bead represents heaven, a place of perfection described in the Bible as having streets of gold and an eternal absence of sorrow, pain, tears, or death. This imagery reminds us of the glory of God and the promise of eternal life for those who follow Him.
The Dark Bead: A Reflection on Sin
The dark bead symbolizes the weight of sin, as described in Romans 3: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” It serves as a somber reminder that sin separates us from God, and its wages lead to death, the consequence of not believing in God.
The Red Bead: The Blood of Jesus
Yet, there is good news. The red bead represents the blood of Jesus, who, out of immeasurable love, shed his blood and bore the punishment for our sins. As John 3:16 declares, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection made a way for us to be reconciled with God, offering peace and salvation.
A Personal Journey of Transformation
One speaker shared a personal testimony of being born again at age 19. They described the experience as an overwhelming release of burdens and an immediate flood of peace, marking the start of a fulfilled life walking with Christ. This testimony highlighted the transformative power of surrendering to God, finding peace that surpasses all understanding, and living under His blessings.
Choosing Blessings Over Curses
Drawing from Deuteronomy, Jeff emphasized the choice between blessings and curses, life and death. Following God’s Word brings blessings in every area of life, while turning away results in hardship. However, through Jesus, we are redeemed from the curse and invited to live under God’s abundant blessings.
An Invitation to Salvation
Attendees were invited to pray a salvation prayer, affirming their decision to follow Jesus and experience a personal relationship with God. The message was clear: salvation is a free gift, and anyone who calls on Jesus’ name will be saved.
Encouragement for Growth in Faith
FCFI encouraged participants to immerse themselves in God’s Word, find a Bible-believing church, and share the good news with others. By planting seeds of faith through Scripture, prayer, and worship, believers were reminded to nurture their relationship with God and claim the promises found in the Bible.
Sharing Resources and Witnessing Tools
The FCFI group distributed bracelets, walking sticks, hats, and jackets which serve as tangible reminders of the message, tools for sharing faith with others, encouraging participants to witness to their friends and communities.
