Sharing the Hope of Christ at the 2026 West Branch Susquehanna Home Builders Show – by Michael and Karen Steele

The Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International’s (FCFI) Pennsylvania Northern Tier Chapter (PANTC) is set up and ready to share the Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ at the 2026 West Branch Susquehanna Home Builders Show

The Pennsylvania Northern Tier Chapter (PANTC) of FCFI had another wonderful opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ during the 2026 West Branch Susquehanna Home Builders Show held at the Liberty Arena in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Throughout the three-day event, the FCFI booth became a place where conversations were started, lives were touched, and seeds of faith were planted. PANTC is grateful for the faithful volunteers who helped make this outreach possible, including Michael and Karen Steele, Sally and David Good, and Ernie Reese.

Hundreds of visitors stopped by the booth, where they received bracelets, zipper pulls, cross necklaces, and the newly introduced Mini Walking Stick necklaces. Created from quality wood pieces left over from the walking stick-making process, these unique necklaces quickly became a favorite, with 15 of the 20 brought to the show finding new homes.

One of the busiest attractions was the sand art table, where approximately 80 children and families created colorful necklaces while learning about the message of salvation. What seemed like a simple craft became a powerful tool for sharing the Gospel.

Among the many encouraging stories was that of a young girl who visited the booth several years ago. While making a sand art necklace, she heard about receiving Jesus as Savior. Though she did not make a decision at that time, she later went home, reflected on what she had heard, and one week later invited Jesus into her heart. Returning to the booth this year, she joyfully shared that she now talks to Jesus every day. Her testimony serves as a reminder that God continues to work long after an event has ended.

Another young woman stopped by and proudly showed volunteers the Wordless Bible zipper pull she had received from the FCFI booth the previous year. She shared that she still uses it regularly, demonstrating how even small gifts can leave lasting memories and open doors for continued ministry.

During the show, volunteers distributed Bibles and devotional books to visitors who desired them. Several copies of Jesus Calling devotionals and children’s Bibles were given away, including a colorful Bible that brought a huge smile to one young lady’s face and a pre-teen Bible that was greatly appreciated by its recipient.

Three young ladies visited the booth to learn more about FCFI and were warmly welcomed by volunteer Ernie Reese, who helped them make sand art cross necklaces. After receiving Jesus Calling devotionals, the group expressed surprise and appreciation for seeing a Christian presence at the home show. One of the young women was known among her friends for her strong faith, and the team invited her to return and observe how the Gospel is shared with visitors.

One couple stopped to ask about the ministry and learned more about FCFI. Impressed by the dedication of the volunteers, the gentleman remarked that every ministry needs “Time, Talent, and Treasure.” Seeing the time and talent invested by the team, he promised to pray that God would provide the financial resources needed to reach even more people with the message of Christ.

Another touching moment came when a husband and wife, relatives of one of the volunteers, stopped by and noticed a copy of Jesus Calling on the table. Opening to that day’s reading, the wife read the devotion aloud while her husband followed along quietly. The couple was delighted when they were invited to take the devotional home with them.

PANTC also continues a long-standing connection with students from Pennsylvania College of Technology. For many years, advisor Randy Williamson has encouraged students attending the Home Builders Show to visit the FCFI booth. In fact, during FCFI’s first year at the show more than a decade ago, approximately a dozen Penn College students accepted Christ. Since then, this annual tradition has continued.

The ministry’s impact extended beyond visitors. Vicki from Fine Line Homes stopped by and was inspired by the sand art outreach. After seeing children enjoy the activity while learning about Jesus, she shared her desire to start a sand art ministry at her church on Easter Sunday. The PANTC team gladly provided information about supplies and even gifted her some sand to help get started.

Another blessing came when the administrator of the Liberty Arena visited the booth. Moved by what she saw, she returned with donations to support the ministry and expressed how much she appreciated the work being done. It was a powerful reminder that people recognize when the love of Christ is present.

Most importantly, the team had the privilege of praying with two individuals who made decisions to invite Jesus Christ into their hearts. Praise God for changed lives and eternal impact.

In addition to these decisions for Christ, volunteers distributed approximately 30 gel bracelets, 20 Wordless Bible cord lock bracelets, 40 zipper pulls, 15 Mini Walking Stick necklaces, several cross magnets, and numerous cross necklaces with beads.

The PANTC team is thankful for every volunteer, supporter, and prayer partner who helps make these outreaches possible. Events like the West Branch Susquehanna Home Builders Show provide opportunities to boldly proclaim the Gospel in places where few others are doing so.

Please continue to keep this ministry in prayer as the team travels to communities near and far, sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ.

A special thank you goes to all FCFI supporters. Your faithful prayers and generosity make these outreaches possible, and you are part of every life touched through this ministry. Together, we are seeing hearts and souls reached for our Mighty God and Amazing Savior!
