David Breeden sharing the discipleship ministry with FFA students at the Tulsa Farm Show
The Tulsa Farm Show provided a powerful opportunity to connect with the next generation of agricultural leaders through intentional conversation, biblical teaching, and the clear presentation of the Gospel. Amid the busy aisles filled with farm equipment, innovation, and industry resources, meaningful moments unfolded as students paused to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and reflect on their faith and future.
The event drew many FFA students who are actively preparing to become tomorrow’s farmers, ranchers, and agricultural professionals. In the midst of this setting, ministry took place naturally—meeting students where they are and addressing their spiritual needs. Through simple conversations and shared materials, seeds of faith and discipleship were planted in hearts eager for direction and purpose.
David engaged a group of FFA students, sharing about the discipleship ministry and its purpose. Standing in the middle of the bustling farm show, he explained that discipleship is more than a program—it is a commitment to walking alongside one another in faith. He emphasized learning how to apply biblical truth to everyday life, decision-making, leadership, and the unique challenges faced in agriculture.
The students listened attentively and also acquired printed resources to take home as they learned how faith and farming intersect. These conversations encouraged them to view their work not merely as a profession, but as a calling from God. By connecting Scripture with real-life experiences in agriculture, David, whose father was an FFA teacher, helped the students see how Christ-centered values can guide them in their personal lives, families, and future operations.

Jeff Goss combines his evangelism experience with David Breeden’s discipleship experience
Another meaningful moment shows Jeff in a personal conversation with an FFA student at the booth. Taking time away from the noise and movement of the show, Jeff clearly and compassionately shared the Gospel—explaining the hope, forgiveness, and new life found in Jesus Christ. He listened to the student’s questions and offered resources to encourage continued spiritual growth beyond the event.
These one-on-one conversations are often where lasting impact begins, particularly when the Jeff sees the same students for up to four years in a row. This ongoing personal engagement allows students to feel seen, heard, and valued, creating space for the Holy Spirit to work in powerful ways. What may seem like a brief interaction can become a life-changing encounter with the truth of the Gospel.
Together, these moments reflect the heart of ministry within the agricultural community—showing up, building relationships, and faithfully sharing God’s Word wherever opportunities arise. Whether through group discipleship conversations or personal Gospel discussions, the message remains the same: God cares deeply for farmers and those preparing to serve in agriculture.
We are thankful for opportunities like the Tulsa Farm Show, where faith is shared in practical and relational ways. Please continue to pray for the FFA students who heard the message, for David and Jeff as they continue this work, and for the ongoing impact of discipleship and evangelism among the next generation of agricultural leaders.
