Art and Susan Free had the opportunity to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the 2026 New Mexico State FFA Convention, held at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The event welcomed representatives from 72 local FFA chapters and brought together more than 1,000 students, advisors, and guests from across the state.
Throughout the convention, many attendees stopped by the booth to learn more about the Gospel. Students and guests especially enjoyed hearing the wordless message of the colors, a simple yet powerful presentation that explains the Good News of Christ in an easy-to-explain and understand way. The colorful presentation sparked conversations and provided opportunities to share God’s love with young people from diverse backgrounds.
One particularly meaningful encounter demonstrated how God often opens doors for ministry in unexpected ways. A young lady who had visited the booth the previous day returned early the next morning in tears. During the night, she had received news that a family member had suffered a stroke. Seeking comfort and support, she came back to the booth and asked for prayer for her loved one and her family.

The team was honored to pray with her during this difficult moment. It was a touching reminder that ministry is not only about sharing the Gospel but also about being present for those who are hurting and pointing them to the hope and peace found in Christ.
We are grateful for the many opportunities to connect with students, advisors, and guests throughout the convention. Please join us in praying for the seeds of faith that were planted and for those facing personal challenges, that they would experience God’s comfort, strength, and grace in their lives.
