A new outreach effort launched in 2026 continued its mission of sharing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ during the York RV Show, held March 20–22 at the York Fairgrounds in Pennsylvania.
Representing the outreach were Michael and Karen Steele, along with volunteers Jeff Waybright, Dennis Glorioso, Tom Palmer, and Joe. Throughout the three-day event, the team had the opportunity to share the Gospel with hundreds of attendees and witness God moving in remarkable ways.
One of the greatest blessings of the weekend was seeing seven people place their faith in Jesus Christ. The team distributed approximately 200 Wordless Bible resources, along with bracelets, bookmarks, zipper pulls, necklaces, crosses, and other materials designed to share the Gospel message.
A popular attraction at the booth was the sand art table, where 32 colorful sand art necklaces were created and given away. Each necklace also provided an opportunity to share the message of Christ.
One particularly memorable moment involved a mother and her two daughters who stopped by the sand art table. Although the girls had attended a Bible group and had learned about Jesus, their mother shared that they had never been taught about personally receiving Him as Savior. After hearing the Gospel, both girls prayed to receive Christ. When Karen Steele learned that they did not own Bibles, the team blessed each child with a new Children’s Bible.
Another touching encounter came through Brooke, a young woman from a neighboring booth. After making a sand art necklace, she returned to create one for her mother and later surprised Michael and Karen with handmade bracelets. One of the bracelets featured the colors of the Wordless Bible in the order used to share the Gospel—a treasured gift that Karen still wears today.
The team was also grateful for the support of local volunteers Dennis Glorioso, Jeff Waybright, and Tom Palmer, whose enthusiasm and willingness to serve helped make the weekend especially meaningful.
Throughout the event, many vendors and attendees opened up about their lives and shared personal stories. One neighboring vendor, Bob from Leaf Guard, developed a friendship with the team and spoke candidly about challenges he was facing. These conversations reminded the volunteers of the importance of allowing God to guide every interaction.
Another vendor encouraged Michael and Karen to consider ways to expand their outreach and pursue opportunities that would allow them to share the Gospel even more widely. His words left a lasting impression and reinforced their desire to devote themselves fully to the work God has placed before them.
One especially significant encounter involved a young vendor from a Muslim background. After listening carefully to the message of salvation, she expressed both interest and honesty about her struggles in understanding the Christian faith. Though she admitted that believing was difficult because of her upbringing, she joyfully affirmed her desire to receive Jesus Christ into her life. The team asks believers everywhere to pray that God will continue to strengthen her faith and use her testimony to impact her family.

The 2026 York RV Show marked the fourth outreach event of the season. With every event, the team continues to see God open doors, create new friendships, and provide opportunities to share His love with people from many walks of life.
Michael and Karen Steele are deeply grateful for the volunteers who faithfully serve alongside them, for the prayers offered on behalf of the outreach, and for the financial support that helps make these opportunities possible.
As they look ahead to future events, they remain committed to one purpose: sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with all who are willing to listen.
May the Lord continue to bless you all!
