believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
| A couple of years ago my wife and I were sharing Jesus salvation message at the Loyalsock Tractor Show. A mother and her 4 year old son stopped. After going through the colors of the Wordless Bible we advised them the green bead was for growing closer to God and Jesus. We asked if there was somewhere we could go to learn about Jesus. The little boy was thinking when Mom leans down to his ear. Church, he shouts out with a smile! We then ask if there is a book we can read about Jesus. The little boy gets real serious and says “I hope so!” Good news everyone! There is a book containing a lot of the wonderful things Jesus said and did before He went to the cross and crushed Satan and death. The Bible – Yee Haw!! There were times that, even though Jesus followers heard His words and saw His miracles, they had doubts as to whether He was who He said He was or not. They did not have the Bible then. They were living it before it went to print. We have the wonderful teachings of Lord Jesus and our Lord God to read in the Bible to understand and believe in them both! And if that is not enough, we have the miraculous way lives have changed in believers around the world that verify that Jesus is truly God’s Son. We can read about the wonderful works of Jesus in the Bible or we can see the wonderful works in people’s lives today when they turn to Jesus and receive Him as their personal Savior. Either way, we have no excuses today for not believing in Jesus Sonship to God! Lord, I believe Jesus is Your Son and died on the cross for my sins. Thank you so much Lord Jesus for loving me so much that You died for me, too!! Help me to show the world your love in my words and actions, so much that those that do not believe yet will turn around and come to Jesus!! Prayer Requests!
