John 21:7
Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter,
“It is the Lord!”
With so much going on when we are driving it is amazing we are alive today. We can be turning on the radio, changing the radio station, inserting or changing a CD, talking on the phone, texting, trying to read a paper or document telling us where to go, etc, … How do we not get in accidents? That is how our daily lives are. Get up and get ready for the day, check the news, sports, and weather. The house chores need done. Take care of the vehicles. It can be so easy to take our eyes off of the Lord. There is so much going on between us and the Lord. Here the disciples had not seen Jesus since He was dead on the cross. They went out fishing. And Jesus calls from the shore!!! John knew immediately it was Jesus! He was in tune to the Masters voice and His command of dropping the nets to where the fish were at (as Jesus had done before!) Are you allowing so much into your life that you cannot see the Lord or recognize His voice calling out to you? Look at those beautiful leaves coating the mountains. Look at the awesome roaring oceans. Look at the amazing technology around us. In just over a hundred years the world goes from horse and buggy and two tin cans and a string to self driving automobiles and cell phones. The Lord loves us. He has created a wonderful world for us all to live in. When you look around at the world and what all we each have individually, you can see the Lord. With each of these blessings you can look at them and say, “It is the Lord!” God bless!! Lord, without You in my life, I have nothing and I am nothing. Let my eyes be on You Lord every second of every day. I praise You Lord for the beauty in the world around me and for the blessings of my family and friends. You truly are a loving God. I do not deserve any of what You do for me and so I greatly appreciate the life You have given me. Help my life’s focus to be “It is the Lord!” Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen!! Prayer Requests!
