Isaiah 42:13
The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies.
Today is officially Veterans Day in these United States (yesterday was Veteran’s Day Observed). We are so grateful for all the active and retired military personnel that have served this great country in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, along with our reserves. The Lord speaks greatly of soldiers. The Lord knows, in this sinful world, that there will be wars. The Lord is there to hold up and support warriors that are God fearing and God loving. Soldiers have a job to do. They defend the United States against all enemies. There may not be many people that truly understand the life of a warrior, but the Lord understands them. The Lord understands their zeal for what they do. They defend, plain and simple. They may shout out as they attack as the Lord states above. They are focusing all their energies as one unit against a foe. And with the Lord’s blessing, they will prevail in their battle and eliminate the threat. Warriors active and retired, we thank you and we love you. Without you doing the job you were called to do, we do not have the freedoms that this country has. And that includes the freedom to worship our mighty God. Thank you Veterans! May you all feel the love, peace, and joy that only the Lord can provide!!Lord, sin is a horrible thing. Satan has taken it and used everyone he possibly can to destroy. The United States is a great Christian nation, Lord, due to the tremendous Christian faith of our Founding Fathers. This Christian faith is a threat to satan and he will do anything needed to take down this country. But You have provided the greatest men and women in the world to defend this great Christian nation from it’s very beginning. So many men and women have heeded Your call to become Warriors. It is a nasty job but a necessary job. We thank You for all these Veterans and ask You to give them peace. Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen! Prayer Requests! Please pray for Gordon’s daughter, Jamie. She has breast cancer and is praying for the best options for her healing. Send prayer request to:mdjones11@att.netVisit the FCFI website! Connect with us |
