Proverbs 22:6
Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
| Often people look at young children and think they are not capable of handling even the smallest of everyday chores. Yet, there was a man who had a wife relegated to life in a wheelchair and they had two young boys. Those two very young boys could cook meals and clean the house even as young as 4 and 5 years old. The two boys were having a strong foundation built in them at a very young age. The Lord tells us to teach our family about Him when they are small children and those children, even though growing up and going in various directions in life, will always retain that training you gave them about God and Jesus all through their life. You are building a strong spiritual foundation for their lives that will never crack and never crumble and will help them get through the toughest of life’s experiences. So, go ahead and teach your children about the Lord and read the Bible with them. It is great training that will last a lifetime! Pray that families all over the world will teach their children about the Lord and present them with Lord Jesus salvation message when they are young so they will grow up always serving and loving God and knowing they are part of the Lord’s family!!
