Prayer Guide and Devotional – May 24, 2025

Proverbs 3:6

In all your ways submit to Him,

and He will make your paths straight.

Part of planting is making sure you have all your rows straight. This ensures we keep our garden rows uniform and easy to get into when needed without destroying plants. In our lives we should also always desire straight paths. Not paths that are crooked and will lead to troubled times. A crooked path is hard to follow. We can fall or we can lose our way. How are straight rows accomplished by the farmer during planting? The farmer keeps their eyes straight ahead (not looking back!). How is this accomplished in our lives? We need to always keep our eyes and our ways focused on Lord Jesus and He will make our paths straight. Keep your eyes straight upon Jesus! Submit to Lord Jesus when you hear His still small voice. Submit to the Lord Jesus when you read His Word. This is what makes all of our path’s straight in our lives.

I thank you Lord Jesus that I can walk a straight path as I keep my eyes on You! Help me Lord not to be distracted, but to hear Your still small voice and to take the time to read Your Word. In Jesus Name, Amen!
