Proverbs 30:5
Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
Would you put dirt into your dinner? What about into your drink? No? Then why would you put dirt into your heart and soul? When you avoid the Word of God and rely upon the world for your guidance you are feeding dirt into your spirit. God’s Word is pure. It is the absolute truth. When you read your Bible you are feeding pure nourishment into your spirit. And this truth is a shield. It is protection for your heart and soul against the evil one. The evil one is a master of lies. So, go ahead and protect yourself today. Take in every morsel of God’s Word; you can and protect your spirit with God’s truth!!
Thank You Lord that You have provided me with Your Word. Your Word adds nourishment to my spirit. Help me to put my trust in You and You alone! As I do, I know that You will be a shield to me and protect me, just as shown in the picture above! All the things that come against me will not harm my heart or soul with You as my shield. Thank you Lord in Jesus Name, Amen!
