Romans 5:9

Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

Because Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood, we no longer have the wrath of God on us. We are saved from spending eternity in Hell and experiencing the wrath of His anger toward us for eternity. This is what salvation is! When someone accepts Jesus as their Savior, this is what happens. That person is saved from ever having to experiencing the punishment for their sins and all the bad things they have done because Jesus shed His blood and personally paid the punishment for our sins. Without His justification, His dying on the cross and shedding His blood, we would not have any protection from the wrath of God. Jesus is the love of God for us all in human form. Have you received Jesus? Do you know that you are saved from an eternity away from God and His love and are therefore safe from His wrath? If you are not, then reach out today and He will welcome you. The verse above reminds us that we are protected because of His shed blood for us.
Lord, Thank You for dying for me and shedding Your blood to take my punishment. Thank You Lord for saving me from the wrath that would have been mine. I ask You Jesus, to come into my heart and my life. Lord, fill me with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus Name, Amen!! – Now, you are saved from the horrible but deserved wrath of God!!
