John 8:23-24
Jesus said, “You people are from here below, but I am from above. You belong to this world, but I don’t belong to this world. So I told you that you would die in your sins. Yes, you will die in your sins if you don’t believe that I am he.”
Things have not changed much over the last two thousand years. Back during Jesus walk on this earth He performed miracles and told the people He was God’s Son. He told them the truth that, if they believed He was the Son of God, they could attain heaven. Many still disbelieved, though they saw the miracles and heard Jesus speak words of truth. Today, there is the same problem. Even though Jesus is not here physically on this earth, He is still here Spiritually and He is still performing miracles. He is performing miracles by the way Lord Jesus is changing lives still today. When people pray to Jesus and receive Him into their hearts and lives, you can see many people turn their lives around. They go from being lost sinners bound for hell into being tremendous children of God. You see lives and attitudes changed instantly in a way only God can do. Jesus told them, you disbelieve and so you will die in your sins. People whose hearts were so hard that they could not see the Lord’s chosen one back then, could not see Jesus was God’s salvation. Today you have the same thing. Hearts hardened by satan to keep people from seeing, still today, that Jesus is the only way to heaven!!
Lord, You truly are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Thank You Jesus for turning my life around. I pray Lord that You continue to open peoples eyes to Lord Jesus and to turn many hearts from stone to flesh. Jesus, please continue to change the lost of this world into wonderful children of God. Thank You Jesus for saving me by the washing of Your blood. Thank You Lord! In Jesus Name, Amen!!
