Matthew 13:52
“Therefore,” He said to them, “every student of Scripture instructed in the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who brings out of his storeroom what is new and what is old.”
Look at that wall full of tools! There are old tools and new tools. Often, when FCFI is set up to witness at a tractor show, we will see people displaying their tools around the grounds. The owners of those displays can tell you what each tool was designed to do. Each tool has a special job. Jesus tells us that everyone that is a study of the Bible, those people are instructed by heaven itself.Those Bible verses, Old Testament and New Testament, were inspired by the Lord to teach the world. We are just like a landowner that has a lot of tools. We are to get those tools out, or those Bible verses out, and share them with the world. You go to Bible studies, you read a devotional, you listen to the Pastor’s messages at church, and you study the Bible. Are you bringing those tools, I mean those Bible verses, out so the world can learn from them? Those verses taught you and they can teach many more people. That is, when they are brought out for the people to see and learn. Don’t keep your special tools of God hidden in a shed. Bring those wonderful verses of God’s Word out and share them with the world!! Next time you meet up with someone, start with “You know what I learned today, ………..!” Bring out your new tools (New Testament) and your old tools (Old Testament).
Lord, I do learn so much from You. Sometimes I see a Bible verse I never really noticed before and it can be full of special meaning. Open my doors so I can share Your special Words with as many people as possible. I will get special blessings when I see other people sharing in Your wonderful tools of knowledge from my shed, Your Word! Thank You Lord! In Jesus Name, Amen!!
