John 12:24
| Most assuredly, I say to you,unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. It is the season when fields are full of grain growing and producing. Do you realize that for all the fields of grain to be produced, each grain of wheat that fell into the ground when planted, died? Yet, this death was not the end. The death of that single grain when planted produced so much more! The death of that single grain of wheat produces an entire stem of wheat. Jesus promises that when we die to ourselves we will produce so much more. When receiving Jesus into our hearts and lives, we are to give up our worldly ways. When we die to ourselves and to our worldly ways we will now carry Lord Jesus Christ and His love to the people of the world and sharing with them Jesus death and resurrection message. Like the grain of wheat, it died, but now look at how much the fields are full! The next time you see fields of grain, let it be a reminder of the words the Lord spoke to us. Pray that people will die to themselves, so that much grain will be produced for the Lord in their lives and in the life to come. Forward this email to a friend today!! Prayer Requests!
