Luke 8:46

But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.”

It is amazing! Jesus felt power leave Him when someone touched Him. Jesus was just walking along with the crowds of people pushing up against Him. Someone needed a healing and through just a touch of the sick person’s hand on the hem of Jesus’ garment, power came through Lord Jesus to heal the afflicted. The power of Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, is always alert. This healing was not by Jesus being focused on healing at this moment. Our Lord was just walking along. Then, power went through His body and into a person in need of healing. Do you have needs today? Do you or someone you know need help from the Almighty Creator of the universe? Are you reaching out to touch the hem of Lord Jesus garment right now? The hem of the Lord’s garment is always within our reach. Do more than read a devotional, read your Bible, or your normal prayer time today. Be bold, get on your knees, come into the presence of the Lord who loves you, and grab that hem with both hands!!! The Holy Spirit of the living and almighty Savior is waiting.
Pray that all people all over the world will come to the Lord for special healing today. Whether for physical, spiritual, or emotional healing. The Lord is there waiting for us to come to Him in our times of need!
