John 12:37
But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him,
| So many miracles our Lord Jesus did and so many people that witnessed them still did not believe He was sent by God. Today this is still happening. Many miracles are done every day and yet people do not believe in God and Jesus. Believing requires that we acknowledge something higher and bigger than ourselves is moving and working among us. The hard of heart will say it is coincidence or just a movie scene making the impossible look real. The hard of heart will try to explain something through the use of science or philosophy. If we can explain what we just saw it was not a miracle and so that eliminates proof of God. Still today, there are many that do not believe in the miracles of God. Are you like the guy in the picture above and not sure whether or not to believe what he actually sees? Are we to only be convinced when someone walks on water? What about when a big bill arrives putting pressure on the bank account only to be followed by an unexpected and unexplained big check the next day? What about when a loved one or friend is struggling with cancer and the Lord gives them many more years of life? What about the heart of a hard person turning completely around, and they accept Jesus into their heart? These are all miracles by God looking out over all of us. All the signs and miracles that are before us all everyday are proof that Jesus is alive and still working miracles! Lord, we pray that You would open the hearts and minds of those people that do not accept You or believe in You. That Your Holy Spirit would touch them so deep down in their spirit and soul. That You would open their eyes and their hearts to truly see how big, how wonderful, and how loving You are. And if they refuse You today, please give them another day to hear about Jesus awesome gift to the world and to receive You as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, Amen!!
