Prayer Guide and Devotional
Mark 10:51
Jesus asked, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man answered, “Master, I want to see!”
I knew of a lady that constantly complained about her job and employer. After a year or so of hearing this after church each Sunday she was asked if she has applied elsewhere for work. She just said no. So often we become content where we are at. No matter how bad it may be in our lives, we just accept it. Bartimaeus stood by the roadside. He heard Jesus was coming by and he started calling out to Jesus. Jesus stopped and asked Bartimaeus what he wanted. Why did Jesus ask Bartimaeus what he wanted? He was aware that he could not see. Jesus ask him because He wanted to hear Bartimaeus response. Bartimaeus could have been like the lady above and constantly complained but was not willing to leave his comfort zone. Do you need Jesus attention? Do you have problems (job, family, relationship, health) that you need Jesus to help you with? Get on your knees and shout out to Jesus. He is always listening. He is just waiting for you to step up from the side of the road and make your request. The longer we sit back and stay quiet the longer we live in depression, agony, or torment. Today is the day you cry out to Jesus! We all get to being comfortable in our lives no matter how bad things can get. But it does not have to be this way. Jesus is waiting for each of us to come to Him and talk to Him. To tell Him our needs and desires. Don’t delay any longer. Today is a day of change!!! Forward this email to a friend today!!
