The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
| Often we look at all the troubles and problems in the world today. Murder, harsh protesting, cheating each other. We know that the Lord is coming back soon. He sees everything and knows what the world is like. When the Lord comes back He is taking those who know Him and have received Jesus into their hearts and lives with Him. Those who have rejected Jesus and God will perish. Isn’t that a scary thought! Why is the Lord waiting so long and allowing the world to continue in its sinful ways? The Lord Jesus loves us all so much, he is not willing that any should perish. That is right! God is waiting for every single one that is coming to Him to do so! He is longsuffering (patient) and is coming back when all His children are ready.Continue to wait and while doing so live life as Jesus expects us to and He will come as He promised. In His timing, not ours. Pray that people all over the world will come to repentance, turn their lives away from sin, and receive the Lord’s promises and be part of the Lord’s family spending eternity in heaven!
