Psalms 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
| How many times have you looked up at the sky and realized that God made that? The Bible tells us that the sky and the firmament declares His handiwork. If you ever doubt the glory of the Lord, look up and see the vastness of what He has made! The sky is full of awesome beauty, just as our Lord also is. When the sky is dark, the stars shine. Even when it is raining, the sun is shining behind the rain clouds. Often rainbows will appear as well. Look at how the clouds float along so simply as if being held by the Lords hands. When the sky is blue, the sun shines on us, bringing the earth heat and light. Yes, the sky and the firmament both show the glory of the Lord and what He is able to create. Are you having a rough day, wondering if the Lord loves you? Look up and see the vastness and beauty of what He has made, yet He chose to die on the cross for you! You are His number one focus. Lord, thank You for making the sky so beautiful! It reminds me of You and how Your glory covers me. I am part of Your handiwork just as the sky is. Thank You for loving me so much that You died for me. Your death and resurrection rescues me. Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen!! Prayer Requests!
