Prayer Guide and Devotional – February 7, 2025
John 4:16-18
He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.”
“I have no husband,” she replied.
Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.”
| While Jesus disciples are gone buying food, Jesus hangs out by a well. A lady approaches the well and they start talking. As they talk, Jesus tells her so much about herself that she keeps hidden. She has never met this Man. How can He know so so much about her? Everybody today has things about them they may not be too proud of. The old saying is we each have skeletons in our closet. We think, if I tell nobody about them, they will never be found out and life will be good. But, there is one who knows all of our inner secrets. The one who knows is Him that created you, God!! We may be able to live our entire lives keeping our secrets hidden from everyone around us. But the one who matters most, our God, knows all of them. The Lord knows more about us than we know about ourselves. Don’t feel this is not important. That little list of sins we keep hidden will keep us from spending eternity in heaven. That little list is our one way ticket to hell. The devil rejoices when we add to that nasty list. What if you could get rid of that list?? Well, you can!! When you receive Jesus into your heart and life, the blood Jesus shed on that cross, washes that list away. Have you stopped by the well today and met your Savior? If not, do not wait, pray and ask Jesus into your heart right now!! Heading out to an Ag Show, a Farm Show, or a Tractor Show today? Stop by the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International’s tent or booth and they will help you come to Jesus and watch that secret dirty laundry list be washed away forever!! Lord, I had my own list of sins that offended You. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your death and resurrection and washing that nasty list away. Thank You Lord for loving me so much. I pray now, Lord, for all those that still have a dirty list that they have kept from You. That they all would open their hearts to Lord Jesus and receive His life cleansing blood! Open their eyes to the truth and love of Lord Jesus. Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen!! Prayer Requests! Pray the Lord helps all of us surrender our everything to Lord Jesus Christ. That Jesus words, actions, thoughts, and love come out of us to touch the lives of everyone we meet. Holy Spirit of God, help me show Jesus to this world!
