2 Corinthians 6:2
For He says:“In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Years ago the Pennsylvania Northeast Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International was witnessing over a Labor Day weekend at the Wyoming County Fair. Early in the evening we heard sirens very, very close. We learned later in the evening that there was a vehicle accident at that time. The entrance to the fairgrounds was off of very busy Route 6. At that intersection at that time there was a horrendous vehicle accident where four people in a car exiting the fairgrounds were killed. Were they people that stopped in the FCFI tent while at the fair, that heard the Gospel of Lord Jesus, and rejected Lord Jesus free gift of His death and resurrection? Did they think they had more years to make that decision? Did thy even think tomorrow would never come? The Lord is the only one that knows when our last day and breath on earth will be. If we do not receive Jesus into our hearts by the time we die, we will spend an eternity away from the light and love of God and in the darkness and evils of hell. The Lord tells us right NOW is the acceptable time and the day of our salvation. Do not wait. Do not think that you have a lot of time. Now is the acceptable time to come to Lord Jesus and receive Him into your heart and life!! Now is the acceptable time to place your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. If you have not yet received Jesus into your heart and life, come to Lord Jesus right now! “Lord Jesus, I open my heart to You. Come on in!!” Now, is the acceptable time of your salvation.
Lord, thank you for telling me that Right Now is the acceptable time to come to You. There is no need to wait for another day, hour, or time to come into Your Kingdom! NOW is the acceptable time and the day to receive Jesus into my heart! Lord Jesus, I open my heart to You, come on in. Thank You Lord that You have Come into my heart and I now am a part of Your family. Thank You Lord! In Jesus Name, Amen!!
