Prayer Guide and Devotional – April 21, 2025

Isaiah 43:25

“I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions

for My own sake;

And I will not remember your sins.

This is amazing! One would think, when we accept Jesus into our hearts and lives, that the Lord would wipe out from our memories all the garbage and junk that was our sins from our memories. He would clean us up and make us new beings in Christ. We could not look back and see all the bad we were part of. Hey, He does make us new beings in Christ! But He tells us that the Lord blots our sins out of HIS memory! Why?? Well, if He remembers how bad and dirty we were we cannot enter heaven. Now, the blood of Jesus has totally cleansed us. We are clean! He does not want to look back on our filth. And He is doing this for His sake! He will never remember them.God loves us each so much He blots out our evil past and sees us as clean children of His. Besides, since we do remember our bad history, we can go to others and tell them “You do not want to do that or act that way. I was there. It is a horrible way to live. Make yourself right with God. Receive Jesus into your heart, NOW!”
Thank You Lord for washing my sins away and making me a new and pure child in Your eyes. I ask that those people that I meet that may be living a similar past that I did will listen as I tell them Lord Jesus died for them to become part of Your family. In Jesus name, amen!!
