Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
How much does the Lord really love us? First, look where the Lord is at. He is in our midst!He does not rule and reign just from heaven looking down upon us only when He gets bored. Then, He saves us (from our sins and eternal separation from Him) and He rejoices over us with gladness and love. And look at that! He rejoices over us with singing!!! Yes, singing!!! We will listen to (and enjoy so much!!) all those worldly songs and how they speak of one human loving another. And so often a couple will have “Their song” that speaks of love and that reminds them of the love they have for each other. Yet, the Lord is rejoicing over all of us that have personally accepted Jesus free salvation gift in song, just as two people crazy in love will do for each other. Go ahead and show love and worship to our Lord God in song and in dance. Is He singing over you right now!!
Lord, to think that You love me that much is almost unfathomable. The God that created the entire world and universe loves me and sings over me! I love You, too! I ask You to help me to get closer to You each day. Help me develop a very close relationship with You. Help me to always remember just how much You love me. Help me, to always love You the same!! In Jesus name, Amen!!
