Prayer Guide and Devotional – June 10, 2023
James 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Why do so many people struggle in life? Because they are not having a close relationship with God! We struggle in relationships, with work, with bills and everything else. And all this because we keep ourselves distant from God. Now we are talking about the God that created the world. That God can help you with your needs and wants. And what is so awesome is that this God WANTS to have a close relationship with you! Look what the Lord tells us. When we draw or come closer to the Lord, He will come closer to us. The key is that God is not pushy. If you do not want a close relationship with Him, He will not force it. But then, don’t complain about how difficult everything is. You are rejecting the one source that can love you and take care of you!
Pray that God’s people will drop their pride and come closer to our awesome Lord God through constant prayer and worship of Him.
