But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;

It was with God’s power that Jesus worked the many miracles on earth that He did. That power opened the eyes of blind men, made the lame walk, cast out demons, and gave life to the dead. Just think of the awesome things we could do for the Lord if we had that power! Well, guess what? The Lord is telling us we can have that same power. When the disciples were waiting in a room after Jesus resurrection, the Lord sent tongues of fire, which was the Holy Spirit, down on all those that waited in the room. When we receive the Holy Spirit into our lives we are receiving that same power which the Lord used in performing His miracles. When we ask Jesus into our hearts and lives we are now an open door for the Holy Spirit to come in. Don’t wait!! Invite the Holy Spirit into your heart and life today and claim that special blessing of the Lord!! “Holy Spirit, I open my heart to you. Come on in!!”
Please pray that people will realize the Lord is providing us with the special blessing that is His Spirit and the power and teaching He inspires.
