Prayer Guide and Devotional – August 8, 2023
Acts 5:18-20
and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison. But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.”

The Disciples of Lord Jesus were becoming more bold. They are going out into the streets to preach the great news of Lord Jesus Christ to the people. But remember, they were not welcome. The Jewish leaders were trying to stop them. The leaders were not in favor of Lord Jesus and they are not happy that His message is continuing to go forth. The leaders were so upset with the Disciples that they had them thrown into prison. But you must remember, the ministry that they were part of was not their own ministry. It was God’s!! And God is going to make sure it is preached to all the world. While in prison the Lord sends an angel to free the Disciples. The message to the Disciples was to go into the Temple and preach Jesus Christ!! Just like the ministry the early Disciples were part of, The Fellowship of Christian Farmer’s, International is not the ministry of those men and women put in charge of it. FCFI belongs to the Lord. The Lord is going to make sure FCFI has the funds, supplies, and people to get out into the world and preach Jesus Christ. The Lord will open doors and the Lord will supply the need. Just like an angel freed the Disciples and sent them back to work preaching the good news of Lord Jesus, FCFI has the same responsibility and the same God making sure His salvation message is reaching the people now.
Lord, please be with the leadership of FCFI as they review all the various events and decide where they should go and spread Your Word. Give them Your wisdom and Godly knowledge as they make all their decisions. And please make sure there are enough witnesses to deliver Jesus’ salvation message to the world!!
