Prayer Guide and Devotional – July 1, 2023
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Often we look at all the troubles and problems in the world today. Murder, harsh protesting, cheating each other. We know that the Lord is coming back soon. He sees everything and knows what the world is like. When the Lord comes back He is taking those who know Him and have received Jesus into their hearts and lives with Him. Those who have rejected Jesus and God will perish. Isn’t that a scary thought! Why is the Lord waiting so long and allowing the world to continue in its sinful ways? The Lord Jesus loves us all so much, he is not willing that any should perish. That is right! God is waiting for every single one that is coming to Him to do so! He is longsuffering (patient) and is coming back when all His children are ready. Continue to wait and while doing so live life as Jesus expects us to and He will come as He promised. In His timing, not ours.
Pray that people all over the world will come to repentance, turn their lives away from sin, and receive the Lord’s promises and be part of the Lord’s family spending eternity in heaven! Then they too, can wait on the exciting coming of the Lord, just like the rest of us.
Prayer Requests!!!
Pray for the mid west United States and other areas of the world where drought conditions are causing massive problems for farmers crops. Pray for rain for all these areas for crop production.
Pray for all the stressed farmers whose farms are suffering from drought. These farmers and their families lives depend completely upon crop production and the drought is hindering crop growth. Pray for all of these stressed farmers!!
