Prayer Guide and Devotional – June 28, 2023
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Often when we think of handiwork, we think of something made by a person whom is a master at their trade. That piece that they make is their masterpiece and many people really enjoy that piece. It can be a painting, pottery, a song, someone’s flower garden, a staircase, or even a building’s architecture. This is the way it is when the Lord creates us. He is the master and we are His masterpiece. When others look at us what do they see? Do they see the Master’s Handiwork or do they see what WE are trying to create of our self? Do they see someone trying to lovingly represent Jesus to the world around them? Or are they seeing someone that is very self centered and thinking of themself? When we allow the Lord to work in our life, He will guide us to finish the work that He made us for!
Pray that we will allow the Lord to make us into His Masterpiece.
Prayer Requests!!!
Pray for the mid west United States and other areas of the world where drought conditions are causing massive problems for farmers crops. Pray for rain for all these areas for crop production.
Pray for all the stressed farmers whose farms are suffering from drought. These farmers and their families lives depend completely upon crop production and the drought is hindering crop growth. Pray for all of these stressed farmers!!
Please pray for all unbelievers… pray they will feel the burden of their sin and be drawn to the Lord in faith.
