Prayer Guide and Devotional
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
It is common while sharing the Gospel of Lord Jesus in the Fellowship of Christian Farmers tent or booth to use Romans 5:8 to represent the blood of Jesus that He shed to wash away our sins. That was the best showing of love this world has ever seen. The perfect Son of God dying on the cross to wash away our dirty sins that are very offensive to God and prevent all of us imperfect humans from entering heaven. Today is Valentines Day in these Untied States! A holiday that we are all to show love and appreciation to others. We felt this was the perfect time to remind all people what true love really is. This day we are to show love to others by buying them candy or flowers. And the universal symbol of Valentines Day has always been a heart. Please, remember that Jesus was the most pure “Valentine’s Gift” this world has ever seen or will see. If you give or receive a gift today, remember the gift Lord Jesus gave to us on that old rugged cross. Instead of giving us something that will perish, Lord Jesus gave us something that will NEVER perish, the gift of eternal life in heaven with the Lord!!
Lord, my answer to Your Valentine’s Day question, “Will you be mine?”, is yes! I love You Lord. Thank You for loving me and giving me the best gift of all which is eternal life with You in heaven. All that You ask of me is that I answer yes to your question. Yes, Lord, I receive Your free gift and Your amazing love! Help me to share Your amazing love with the world around me. Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen!!
