Prayer Guide and Devotional – January 26, 2024
Colossians 2:9
For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,
| The greatest miracle that ever was is Jesus Christ coming into our world. If you lived in a world of paradise with a huge home, no hate, no evil, beautiful flowers and colors, a river like crystal flowing nearby and you were God over all creation and you had no enemy, would you leave? Would you agree to go to a world full of hatred, murder, disease, war, and darkness where your enemy roamed freely? That is what Jesus did. He left heaven and came into our world. And He did not do this for Himself, he already had a great gig. Yes, the greatest miracle was for Jesus to come into our world. And in that world Jesus was God in a human body. That is what this verse is telling us. When people looked upon Jesus, they were looking directly at God. That Jesus would love us so much as to leave His awesome home to die a death on the cross for all of us, is the biggest miracle. The second greatest miracle is when people today receive Jesus into their hearts and lives as payment for their sins. A God they have never seen but have only heard about. Miracle number three has to be watching lives turn away from sin due to the power of the Lord entering their body and their life! All this, because Jesus, part of God, came to this earth to show us all heaven’s deity and love, in a human body! Lord, the thought that Jesus would leave heaven and come to our world is almost unimaginable. That the people could look upon our Savior and be looking directly at the complete deity in our human body is so amazing. Thank You Lord Jesus for loving me so much as to leave Your perfect home. Hey Lord, that same Holy Spirit that was, and is, in You and resides within our Mighty God, also is at work in me!! Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen!! Prayer Requests!!!
