Galatians 4:4-5

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.

When a person has no home and no family, they have no hope. Saving grace often comes when a family opens up it’s arms and invites a lost person into their home and their family. When someone lost and alone is adopted, it can change their life forever. The Lord tells us in a set time, He sent His Son to earth. Born a human, under the law of the Hebrews, sent to redeem the Lord’s chosen people. And the reason was so all of us lost people could accept the life saving blood of Lord Jesus, and could be adopted into the Lord’s family. Not true sons and daughters (Jesus is the only true Son of God), but received (adopted) into God’s family and God’s home none the less. As a child is given inheritance rights when fully adopted into a family, we get certain privileges when we are adopted into the Lord’s family. Our inheritance upon being adopted by God is being allowed to spend eternity with our Lord in heaven. Isn’t the Lord so loving to invite us into His family? Have you received Jesus into your heart? Have you been adopted by God?

Lord, thank You for loving us so much that You would send Your son down to earth from His perfect and wonderful existence in heaven to die on a cross to wash me clean of my sins. Sins that prevent me from ever being in Your presence. When I received Jesus into my heart and life, You adopted me into Your family. I love You and thank You Lord for opening up Your home to me. Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen!!
