Psalms 29:11
The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace.
We were made to overcome fear with the strength and peace the Lord promises His people. Fear can be something that paralyzes. Fear can hinder our daily lives and it can hinder our relationship with Jesus. People look all over for strength. The only place true strength comes from is from the Lord. Strength from other sources may stay for a time, seemingly giving strength. However, it will fade and eventually disappear. This is not true peace or strength. The strength and peace we receive from the Lord endures all hardships. There is nothing that can happen to any of us that the Lord’s strength can not save us from or get us through. Also, you will have peace when it seems no peace is possible. In times, when others are in chaos and fear, your heart will be at peace because you are one of the Lord’s children. Keep your eyes on the Lord and you will continue to have His strength and peace. When we take our focus off of Jesus we will lean back on our own abilities to get through rough times. And our human abilities will fail us and we will fall. The Lord’s strength and peace surpasses all understanding. Where does our strength come from, everybody now, from the Lord!!
Lord, thank you for bringing us Your love, strength, and peace. There is no need to fear today or tomorrow. You bless Your people with Your peace. You give us the strength we need to go through each day. There is no other place where we can find this strength or peace other than in Your arms. Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen!!
