Psalm 91:1
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Do you have a secret place in which you go to find peace or just to unwind and enjoy some quiet time? This is a wonderful time to pray to the Lord and to seek how we can be closer to Him. During this time we are under the Lord’s shadow. To be under His shadow means that He is there with us and right above us. Being under His shadow is where we find rest and peace. Like the chicks in the picture that are under their mother’s wing. These chicks have no fear when they are under the shadow of the hen. See how the hen is looking down and even checking to be sure that the chicks are safe? The Lord does that with us when we abide in the secret place with Him. Go to your secret place today and feel the comfort and peace of our heavenly Father as only can be experienced when we tune out the rest of the world and tune in to the Lord’s wonderful Spirit. He is waiting for you!
Pray that people will abide with the Lord and thus be covered in His protection.
