Prayer Guide and Devotional – December 13, 2023

John 6:40

For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”

This verse reminds us that it is our Father’s will that those who see His Son and believe on Him will be raised up on the last day. There is no need to doubt. We are so loved by the Lord that we will be raised from the dead, just as Jesus was. Sometimes in this world those that love us do forget us, but we can be assured that Our Father in heaven loves us so much that He will not leave us as we are. He will not leave us dead and decaying in the grave. We will be raised as He was into the glorious newness. In the picture above, you can see His gladness and joy in seeing His children with Him as He is clothed in white and enjoying the treasures of heaven. Our assurance is in the fact that Jesus was raised from the dead. Jesus died and rose again to show us how much He loves us. He died on the cross to save us from our sins and He rose again! We will be with Him as He is! Risen and alive forevermore! All we need to do is to receive Him and believe. Do you believe?

Lord, I believe that you were born and came to this earth so that my sins could be taken away. I believe that you died on the cross, so I could be washed clean from my sin. You took my sin on the cross and rose again into new life. Thank you, Lord that I will be raised from the dead just as You were with Your power. I am looking forward to seeing You in Your glory. Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen!!
